1. Using this website
This website is operated by East Africa Property ("we", "us"). By using it you agree to these terms. The site is for general information about property for sale in Kenya and about our services. It is not legal, tax or investment advice.
2. Property information and availability
We take care to keep listings accurate, but details, prices and availability can change without notice and may contain errors. A listing is an invitation to enquire, not an offer capable of acceptance. Nothing is binding until a written agreement has been signed by the parties through their advocates.
3. Fixed price and calculator
The calculator and displayed totals are indicative estimates. The binding all-in fixed price is the one confirmed in our written offer for a specific property. Amounts shown in currencies other than US dollars are converted at indicative daily rates and may differ from the rate applied in a transaction.
4. Financing
Financing is provided by Diamond Trust Bank Kenya, not by us. Any loan is subject to the bank's credit assessment, approval and terms. We do not guarantee that financing will be granted.
5. Client funds
How purchase funds are held and released during a transaction is set out in the written agreement and engagement terms for that transaction, which prevail over any general description on this website.
6. Architects, builders and other partners
We may introduce you to architects, construction companies and other professionals. They are independent businesses and contract with you directly. We may receive a referral fee from partners we introduce. Their work is not covered by these terms.
7. Fair and equal treatment
We deal with all clients and enquiries fairly and without discrimination on grounds such as nationality, ethnicity, race, religion, sex, disability or family status.
8. Intellectual property
The content, design and branding of this site belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them commercially without our written permission.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on the information on this website or from interruptions of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
